A “nutrient credit” is a certified unit of improvement to the environment, measured in pounds of phosphorus, nitrogen, and sediment reduction.

The Process

In addition to continuing sales of nutrient credits from its land conversion banks, Potomac has stream and wetland restoration projects under development at its Brookdale, Coolbrook, and Circleville Farm mitigation banks that will generate approximately 9,207 stream credits and 13 wetland credits.
