Paul, an attorney, began Potomac Mitigation Bank in 2019. He is an advocate for the environment and our natural resources. Paul is active with various non-profit conservation organizations and sits as a Co-Chair on the Board of the Goose Creek Association. Through his mitigation efforts he is able to assist in the protection of our local watersheds through tree planting and stream restoration. His dedication, protection of the environment and vision is to restore the watershed and habitats to their ultimate health and vibrancy.

Hollis, an Environmental Consultant and Archaeologist, joined Potomac Mitigation Bank in 2022. His career as a consultant and advocate has been devoted to the protection of natural and cultural resources in the greater American Southwest. Hollis is an active outdoorsman and avid world traveler with a keen interest in observing the interactions between natural habitats and cultural landscapes. In addition to his duties at Potomac Mitigation Bank, Hollis co-manages a 4th generation family-owned timber, wildlife and mineral operation in his birthplace of Louisiana.

Ted Lewis worked as a Geotechnical/Environmental Consulting Engineer for 37 years in the Washington Metropolitan area and specialized in water supply well development, earthen embankment dams, and Karst assessments. He is one of the founding members of GeoConcepts Engineering, a 100 person engineering consulting firm which was located in Loudoun County until it was acquired by a national engineering firm in 2018. He currently serves as the Board Chair of Goose Creek Association, on the Board of Directors of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, and on the Board of the Washington Airports Task Force. Ted is a lifelong Loudoun County resident, and currently lives in Leesburg, Virginia.

Holly joined Potomac Mitigation Bank in April of 2022. Paul and Holly have previously worked closely at the Goose Creek Association. Holly originally comes from a background of real estate and development, however within the past 10 years has dedicated herself to working with environmental non-profit organizations. Holly has lived in Fauquier and Clarke Counties for 35 years and continues to appreciate the beauty of rural Virginia.

Marie-Pierre serves as a Project Coordinator at Potomac Mitigation, bringing a unique blend of organizational expertise and technical knowledge. With a background in computer science, Marie-Pierre combines problem-solving skills with a passion for efficiency and innovation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Driven by a deep curiosity and a love for learning, Marie-Pierre finds motivation in contributing to projects that promote sustainability and positive change. This dynamic combination of administrative excellence and a tech-savvy perspective makes Marie-Pierre a valuable asset to the team.

Nate joined Potomac Mitigation as Chief Technology Officer in June 2026, bringing his expertise across data, software, and AI solutions to the team. At Potomac, Nate combines his industry experience delivering Virginia DEQ's SWaN Platform with an AI-first mindset to strengthen the company's technology and data backbone, drive innovation, and equip the team with tools to grow efficiently. A native of the Wasatch Back near Park City, Nate still calls Utah home, where he enjoys hiking and spending time with his wife and three children.

Pete Walton grew up in rural Loudoun County Virginia, discovering his passion for regenerative agriculture volunteering for a grassroots urban farming community while attending James Madison University in 2010. After a semester wilderness expedition in Patagonia with the National Outdoor Leadership School, he decided to devote his career to reconnecting people to nature through farming and food. He went on to work on several diverse vegetable and livestock farms including Willowsford Farm, George's Mill Farm, and managing a small tree nursery. Recently, he worked with educational farms including Fox Haven Farm, and helped launch the Piedmont Environmental Council's Community Farm at Roundabout Meadows leading volunteer days and educational events, while producing thousands of pounds of vegetables for food banks. He is thrilled to join the Potomac Mitigation Bank team, and expand his skillset in ecological restoration, in addition to tending the gardens at Coolbrook Farm.
